China Merchants Energy Shipping (CMES), a subsidiary of China Merchants Group, announced that Li Jianhong has relinquished his chairman and director of strategic development posts of CMES with effect from August 9.

Prior to joining CMES, Li worked with COSCO Group since 1989 and served as manager of COSCO Nantong Shipyard and general manager of COSCO Industry Company, China Ocean Shipping.
