According to the recent report from China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry, domestic shipbuilding has shown some main trends, including increase of orders, decrease of completion capacity, decline of economic benefits and ship export.

During the first four months this year, domestic total completion volume of vessels was 13.78 million dwt, decreasing by 11.9% year-on-year. The new received orders reached 11.57 million dwt, climbing by 57% year-on-year. Vessels export was 11.45 million dwt, dropped by 9.6% year-on-year.
