China Oilfield Services (COSL) on Tuesday clinched an agreement with Agility Group (AG) on the drilling package for COSL's drilling semisubmersible unit Hai Yang Shi You 982 (HYSY982).

The $7.9M deal includes detailed design work on integrating the drilling package from National Oilwell Varco (NOV) and construction of the semi. AG has also agreed a scope of work for Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore of about NOK20M ($3.3M). "This contract confirms AG China's position in the Chinese market," said AG's CEO, Otto Søberg.
