Safe Bulkers has fixed a post-panamax bulker for 30 months.

The 87,000 dwt vessel was fixed at a rate of $7,250 per day less 1.25% commission to an undisclosed charterer.

The vessel will be delivered in April and Safe Bulkers said it would generate gross charter earnings of $6.5m over the period of the charter.
