On October 13, the unveiling ceremony of Ningbo Kaifu International Logistics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ningbo Kaifu") was held in Ningbo. The company is a joint venture established by Zhejiang Seaport Logistics Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhejiang Seaport Logistics Group"), under Zhejiang Seaport Group and Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group, and Jiaxing Kaihong Flat Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Kaihong Flat").

According to industrial and commercial registration information, Ningbo Kaifu completed its industrial and commercial registration and was officially incorporated on August 24, 2026. The company has a registered capital of RMB 40 million. Its business scope covers ocean international freight forwarding, air international freight forwarding, non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) business, supply chain management services and more. Kaihong Flat subscribed for a capital contribution of RMB 26.4 million, accounting for 66% of the registered capital; Zhejiang Seaport Logistics Group subscribed for RMB 13.6 million, holding a 34% stake. The unveiling ceremony on October 13 marked the official launch of the new company’s external operations.

Ningbo Kaifu’s business scope includes ocean international freight forwarding, air international freight forwarding, NVOCC services and supply chain management. From its inception, it has been deeply integrated into the maritime logistics service chain. The establishment of the joint venture represents a new move by Zhejiang Seaport to deepen equity cooperation with leading industrial enterprises and expand external cargo sourcing markets.

As for the two partners, Zhejiang Seaport Logistics Group serves as the core logistics operation entity of Zhejiang Seaport. Leveraging Ningbo Zhoushan Port, it boasts a logistics network spanning coastal areas and extending along the Yangtze River. It specializes in modern comprehensive logistics services such as sea-rail intermodal transport, port-wide empty container management, container truck transportation, port-side warehousing and yard operations, and freight forwarding. Kaihong Flat, jointly founded by Zhejiang Kaihong Supply Chain Group Co., Ltd. and Flat Glass Group Co., Ltd., has deep roots in the logistics market of the Yangtze River Delta and surrounding regions, with mature capabilities in serving major clients and strong local operational expertise.

The joint establishment of Ningbo Kaifu is an important initiative for Zhejiang Seaport to fully implement national strategies including the Yangtze River Economic Belt development and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, as well as to deliver on the deployment requirements of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government for building a world-class strong port. It also aims to deepen equity cooperation with leading industrial enterprises and expand external cargo sourcing markets. The two parties will complement each other’s resource endowments, facilitate efficient connection between regional logistics resources and port logistics networks, and jointly develop coastal feeder logistics routes.

Under the plan, after its establishment, Ningbo Kaifu will focus on meeting the logistics demands of Flat Glass’s production bases, prioritizing feeder shipping operations and freight forwarding services. It will iteratively improve full-spectrum comprehensive logistics products covering domestic and overseas markets and continuously upgrade its comprehensive logistics service capacity. Meanwhile, the company will coordinate its domestic business foundation and overseas network layout, striving to build a frontline platform for the logistics group to source cargo externally and a key instrument for tapping into outside markets. It will create a two-way linkage mechanism connecting domestic and international markets, contributing logistics strength to Zhejiang Seaport’s endeavour to build a world-class strong port.
