On the evening of August 4, 2026, Dajin Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dajin Heavy Industry" or the "Company") announced that its subsidiary, Tangshan Dajin Offshore Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., had signed contracts with a Norwegian shipowner for the construction of two bulk carriers, with a total contract value of approximately RMB 1 billion, to be paid in installments based on construction milestones.

The contracted vessels are 211,000 DWT bulk carriers, each with an overall length of approximately 299.95 meters, a breadth of approximately 50 meters, and a depth of approximately 25 meters, falling into the very large bulk carrier category. The vessels are scheduled for delivery in batches in 2029.

According to the announcement, the Norwegian shipowner focuses on own fleet operations, newbuilding investments, secondhand vessel trading, long-term charters, and offshore project developments. The Company had engaged in similar transactions with this shipowner over the past three years, and the two parties have established a relatively stable cooperative relationship. Dajin Heavy Industry stated in the announcement that the signing of this contract marks the broad recognition of the Company's shipbuilding capabilities by leading international shipowners, and the performance of the contract is expected to have a positive impact on the Company's future operating results.

Reviewing the disclosed announcements since the beginning of 2026, Dajin Heavy Industry has seen a dense succession of new shipbuilding contract signings:

- On April 24, the Company signed contracts with a Norwegian shipowner and a Greek shipowner respectively for four 210,000 DWT bulk carriers each;

- On May 11, the Company signed contracts with the same Greek shipowner for two 211,000 DWT bulk carriers;

- On May 24, the Company signed contracts with a subsidiary of the Dutch company Jumbo for two 25,000 DWT multi-purpose heavy-lift vessels;

- On July 20, the Company signed contracts with another Greek shipowner for 3+1 units of 211,000 DWT bulk carriers.

With the latest two-vessel contract signed on August 4 for the Norwegian shipowner, Dajin Heavy Industry has publicly disclosed cumulative new shipbuilding contracts involving at least 23 new vessels in 2026, including 21 bulk carriers of the 210,000 DWT class and two multi-purpose heavy-lift vessels, with the total value of newly signed contracts exceeding RMB 10 billion.
