Wisdom Marine Lines' operating profit surges 254% in first seven months
Wisdom Marine Lines has released its operating data for July 2026. Specifically, for the first seven months of 2026, Wisdom Marine Lines achieved operating revenue of NT$11.77 billion (approximately US$370 million), a year-on-year increase of 34.8%; operating profit reached NT$4.15 billion (approximately US$130 million), up 254.0% year-on-year; and cumulative pre-tax profit for the first seven months stood at NT$3.93 billion (approximately US$120 million), a year-on-year surge of 604.4%.

In July 2026, Wisdom Marine Lines recorded operating revenue of NT$2.10 billion (approximately US$65.139 million), a year-on-year increase of 42.1%; operating profit of NT$920 million (approximately US$28.659 million), up 172.0% year-on-year; and pre-tax profit of NT$870 million (approximately US$27.005 million), a year-on-year increase of 224.0%.
Wisdom Marine Lines stated that the 172.0% year-on-year growth in operating profit for July was mainly due to the poor market conditions in the first half of 2025.
Wisdom Marine Lines' fleet is primarily composed of Handysize and Panamax vessels, covering bulk carriers, log carriers, and tweendeck multipurpose vessels. In recent years, the company has been gradually renewing its fleet at a pace of ordering 6–8 newbuildings per year.
In terms of operations, Wisdom Marine Lines leverages its high-specification fleet built in Japan and has established long-term partnerships with numerous reputable charterers. By combining long-term chartering with spot operations, the company adapts to market changes and achieves stable performance.
As of now, Wisdom Marine Lines controls 129 vessels. In addition, the company holds 8 newbuilding orders, including 2 vessels of 82,000 deadweight tons and 6 vessels of 40,000 deadweight tons.
