InterMaritime Group and Hamburg-based Carsten Rehder have established a joint venture ship management company aimed at strengthening its ship management business and expanding its presence in the German and Nordic markets.

Specifically, InterMaritime Group and Carsten Rehder have founded the joint venture ship management company InterMaritime Shipmanagement GmbH & Co KG (hereinafter referred to as "InterMaritime Shipmanagement"), with each company holding a 50% stake. The joint venture will take over Carsten Rehder's existing ship management business, initially responsible for the full technical management of approximately 20 vessels, and providing crew management services for additional ships.

Headquartered in Hamburg, InterMaritime Shipmanagement will become part of the InterMaritime Group and operate under the InterMaritime Shipmanagement brand.

Both partners stated that the partnership aims to expand their ship and crew management services and attract more customers in Germany and the Nordic region. InterMaritime Shipmanagement will be jointly led by Tim Lissow and Sven Kruse.
