China’s logistics service provider China Merchants Group has inked a strategic cooperation agreement with ExxonMobil that includes marine fuels and digitalisation.

The newly signed agreement will see the two parties to strengthen the cooperation on the sectors of digitalisation, marine fuels and lubricants, onboard testing, and training.

Xie Chunlin, chairman of China Merchants said. that the signing of the cooperation agreement will further strengthen our communication with ExxonMobil. “We will exploit the advantages of both parties to the full and expand our cooperation scope”.

Pamela Skaufel, director aviation and marine lubricants of ExxonMobil, said that the company is confident in the cooperation with China Merchants, and will provide all-around support to China Merchants.

ExxonMobil is one of the major marine lubricants suppliers to China Merchants. In November last year, China Merchants Shipping signed the cooperation framework agreement with ExxonMobil on marine lubricants for costs saving and emission control.
