The freight rates for all of four dry bulk carriers remained downward trend, driving BDI declining to 577 points with a drop of 13 points (-2. 2%), the lowest level since August, 1986.

BPI slumped 26 points (-5.42%) to 454 points. The average daily earnings fell $208 to $3,622.

BCI fell 2 points to 663 points. The average daily earnings decreased $41 to $6,563

BSI declined 11 points to 556 points together with BHSI down by 6 points to 326 points.
