RMB 2.624 Billion! COSCO Shipping Specialized Places Another Order for 8 Heavy‑Lift Vessels

On July 21, 2026, COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “COSCO Shipping Specialized” or the “Company”) announced that it plans to have its wholly‑owned subsidiary, COSCO Shipping (Hong Kong) Investment Development Co., Ltd., or its affiliated entities, act as the investment vehicle to build eight 60,000‑tonne multi‑purpose heavy‑lift vessels at CSSC Chengxi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. The total contract price for the vessels shall not exceed RMB 2.624 billion (excluding tax), with a unit price of no more than RMB 328 million per vessel.
