The press conference of 2012 China (Macau) International Yacht Import and Export Fair will be grandly staged at 4:00 pm on May 9th, in Rocks Hotel, Macau. This fair is jointly organized by Macau.

The Organizing Committee is to release the latest preparation information of the 2nd China (Macau) International Yacht Import and Export Fair that will be held at the Fisherman’s Wharf during Oct. 25th-28th, 2012.

In 2011 Macau Administrative Report, Chui Sai On, the Chief Executive of MSAR, emphasizes that “the focal point to support the development of uprising industries in Macau is to promote the industry of convention & exhibition, of cultural creativity, of Chinese medication, of trade services, fostering new economic growth point.” Boosting its advantages in internationalization, highly-developed economy, rich tourist and cultural resources, facilitated transportation condition, and improved exhibition facilities, etc., Macau embraces huge consumer market of yachts. On Mar. 5th 2012, when meeting Wang Yang, Secretary Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, and Zhu Xiaodan, Provincial Governor of Guangdong, the Chief Executive of MSAR, Chui Sai On indicated that Guangdong, HK and Macau may jointly explore the Scheme of Yacht Free Visit and further formulate convenient and efficient measures for yacht entry and departure. This is doubtlessly a potent catalyst to develop Macau yacht industry.

The 1st China (Macau) International Yacht Import and Export Fair came to a successful conclusion with great support from all departments of the MSAR government and close attention from all walks of the society and media, and achieved remarkable results. 2012 China (Macau) International Yacht Import and Export Fair is to expand scale on the basis of last year, and is planning to have over 40 yacht brands from more than 30 countries and regions attended. More than 100 yacht clubs at home and abroad, thousands of purchasers and dealers will conduct business negotiation at the fair; celebrities in the yacht industry and other walks from Chinese mainland, HK, Macau and Taiwan; VIP customers from Western countries and other yacht-industry-developed areas, intending buyers and mainstream media will come around on invitation. Assembled with many international yacht brands, Macau International Yacht Import and Export Fair will be an unprecedentedly gorgeous carnival!

In the meantime, the four-day Macau International Yacht Import and Export Fair will keep up the virtue of various activities: grand Opening Ceremony perfectly presented with new tech; Bikini Party presented with beauties from different countries; cocktail banquet attended by celebrities from all walks; aqua-show performance with the adoption of an original way.

Moreover, to further promote the ocean culture, the exhibition this year will introduce a water sport project—Nankwong International Sailing Regatta. It is said that there will be 20 J/80 sailing boats and 20 monohulls in all types attending the Regatta. At the scheduled time there will be domestic and oversea freely-organized groups participating the Regatta, competing in events of Track Racing, Island Racing, Rally Racing and Challenge Performance, together to compose this Macau yacht carnival.
