A larger amount of vessels were chartered in the dry bulk spot market today, which has allowed panamax, supramax, and handysize rates to find support. Capesize rates remain under pressure, however, as iron ore demand has stayed low and less coal is being exported from Colombia due to an ongoing Colombian coal miner strike.
