A moderate amount of dry bulk vessels were chartered in the spot market again today. In particular, a large amount of capesize vessels were chartered to haul iron ore cargoes and a large amount of panamax vessels were chartered to haul coal and grain cargoes. Firm chartering activity has allowed rates for all four dry bulk vessel classes to find continued support.
