A moderate amount of capesize vessels were chartered today to haul iron ore cargoes to buyers in China. With spot capesize availability remaining tight, the moderate chartering volume hasfurther propelled capesize rates. Rates for the other three dry bulk vessel classes have also found support today, but again by a much smaller amount than capesize rates. A moderate amount of coal, grain, and mineral cargoes have continued to surface in the market.
