Jeffrey Landsberg is the President of Commodore Research & Consultancy, a full service consultancy which provides reports and consulting on dry bulk shipping and commodities including iron ore, coal, steel, and grain. Before starting Commodore Research & Consultancy, Mr. Landsberg was a Senior Exchange Broker at the International Maritime Exchange (Imarex). He first worked in Imarex's Singapore office and later moved to the company's headquarters in Oslo. As a Senior Exchange Broker, Mr. Landsberg was responsible for brokering dry bulk option trades for a wide variety of clients working in Asia. Mr. Landsberg has extensive knowledge of iron ore, freight, steel, and coal through previously working as analyst for Hanjin Shipping in Seoul, Korea. Mr. Landsberg regularly speaks at industry conferences and is quoted in major media (including the New York Times, Bloomberg, Reuters, Tradewinds, Lloyds List, and Business Week) on a regular basis.
