China state shipbuilding corporation (CSSC) has signed a design contract about 14 000 cubic meters LNG carrier with Zhejiang Huaxiang Shipping. It is known that Zhejiang Huaxiang Shipping is the first private enterprise to get qualification for LNG carrier transportation.

It is understood that the LNG carrier is 126 meters long and 23 meters with the capacity of 14 000 cubic meters, which can carry LNG, LEG and LPG.

In addition, at the begging of March, Qidong Fengshun Ship Heavy Industry has signed one 14 000 cubic meters LNG carrier construction contract. It is expected to be delivered in May, 2015.
