The Tianjin Port, in the Binhai New Area of North China’s port city Tianjin, is growing as an international cargo hub. It is striving to be a world-class port with an annual cargo volume of 500 million tons.

As the world's fourth-largest container port and China's largest artificial deep-water harbor, Tianjin Port handled 477 million tons of cargo in 2012 and 12.3 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU), which were sent to or from more than 500 ports across the world.

Now, it is accelerating its pace in business expansion, such as international transit shipment, distribution, procurement and trade, as well as shipping finance and leasing.
