Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (DSIC) won the order for 2 and 2 alternative large semi-submersible accommodation facilities from a new offshore accommodation facility enterprises-Sirius Offshore Accommodation.

 

The total contract price of each offshore accommodation facility is about US $ 315 million, and will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2014. The exercise period of the alternative orders are 18 months and 30 months. Each facility can accommodate up to 490 people, and the average ship age is 30 years. This facility will place safety and operation trust and other factors in the highest priority, and it will be designed and built to be the ships that can stand the bad environment in the North Sea.  

 

In addition, Sirius Corporation stated that the company\'s main objective is to continuously increase its share in the offshore accommodation facility market in Norway and the UK and lead the market.
