Greek shipowner Iolcos Hellenic Maritime Enterprises dismissed reports that it recently placed an order for two bulkers at China's Hudong-Zonghua Shipbuilding.

Some brokers reported that the owner had inked two panamaxes at the yard, but a spokesman of Iolcos said the report is not true.

He said the owner would order some newbuildings at some point, but "not now".

Meanwhile, Iolcos has taken delivery of two 87,000-dwt bulkers from the shipbuilder this year.
