Both unions went through procedures for unification of unions for collective negotiation. However, being unable to narrow down differences in opinions, HHIC Union with majority of members has been decided to exercise representative negotiation rights.

HHIC Union and Hanjin's management party commence the first negotiation for Wage and Collective Agreement on the day.

Planning early settlement and normalization, both parties will discuss about amendment of existing collective agreement, as well as securing stable employment, how to normalize the company, etc.
