The marine and safety equipment manufacturer LALIZAS SA, announces its new products which will be presented at the METS 2012 exhibition. The new marine products are the following:

Inflatable Life Jacket Epsilon 150N, ISO 12402-3 with HAMMAR inflator

The Epsilon inflatable life jacket provides optimal protection whilst allowing maximum freedom of movement and comfort with high performance. It features a soft neoprene fabric for the neck and one chamber which can be inflated via MA1 Hydrostatic Inflator for life jacket auto operation head and bear oral inflation tube incorporating Lalizas valves (20610, certified per ISO 12402-7).

The gas cylinder is located inside the Lifejacket bladder, for maximum protection against corrosion and reduced snagging hazard. Its unique hydrostatic valve protects the water sensitive element, so there is no activation in rain, spray, splash and humidity.

Additionally there is no service requirement of the inflator for 5 years. They are provided with lifting loop and heavy duty D-ring.

Inflatable Life Jacket Ypsillon 150N, ISO 12402-3 with automatic inflator

The Ypsilon inflatable life jacket is an ergonomic life jacket offered with soft neoprene neck and it’s available with automatic inflator.

It features one chamber which can be inflated via Lalizas auto operation head (20260. certified per ISO 12402-7) and bear oral inflation tube incorporating Lalizas valves (20610, certified per ISO 12402-7).

The inflatable bladder, which is manufactured from High Visibility Yellow fabric, is folded into a valise with Velcro closure and is also equipped with Lalizas retro reflective tapes (70180) and whistle (70010, certified per ISO 12402-7 & 8).

The transparent area allows the user to check the operating head function. They are provided with lifting loop and heavy duty D-ring.

Inflatable Life Jacket manual and auto re-arm kit

Once you’ve used your inflatable life it’s very important to re-arm it in order to be stand by for use again. For that reason, you’ll need to equip with the new LALIZAS manual or auto re-arm kits for inflatable life jackets.

2 Finger Cut Amara grey/black & 5 Finger Cut Amara beige/anthracite

The brand new Amara Leather LALIZAS sailing gloves are suitable for every water or land activity. They come in two models, in 2 or 5 Finger Cut, and are made of amara leather, neoprene and a special extra durable fabric. The special Velcro above the risk ensures ultimate fit.

Both the 2 and 5 finger cut models are extremely durable and soft, and the extra Amara leather below the fingers and palm makes them the ideal choice for marine use, especially when dealing with ropes and winches.

The 2 Finger Cut LALIZAS Amara gloves are available in a beige / anthracite colour combination, while the 5 Finger Cut in gray-black. The compounds in both types are made of an extremely durable red coloured thread. All models are available in 5sizes: S - XXL.

Pro Race ISO Buoyancy Aid

The Pro Race has been designed as the “ultimate” high performance buoyancy aid. Its compact manufacturing is ideally suited for dinghy sailors, sport canoeists and windsurfers. The Pro Race buoyancy aid features high density soft PVC buoyancy foam, double sided Velcro waist straps, side entry zip, a mesh front pocket and SOLAS retro reflective tapes. It is approved to the latest European standards for 50N buoyancy aids, ISO 12402-5. All of its raw materials are certified per ISO 12402-7 & ISO 12402-8, for higher strength, quality and durability. Flashing Signal light

Yellow colour Flashing Signal light with 5 Super Bright LED’s (flashes every 5 seconds). Equipped with a photocell, working only during the night, while it switches off during the day. It is visible up to 2 nautical miles and operates according to EU Regalement 404/2011 standard. Furthermore it uses 1 D type battery that lasts for 20 nights. Also there is an acid resistance rubber o-ring which ensures the light is waterproof. The Flashing Signal light has a durable plastic body with anti tumbling protrusions and stainless steel spring inside.

The Hammar H20 is a hydrostatic release unit designed to fit life rafts of all shapes and sizes (from 6 up to 150 persons). HAMMAR H20 EPIRB

The Hammar H20 is a hydrostatic release unit used for Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB). Should the vessel sink, the Hammar H20, which is activated by increasing water pressure, will automatically release the EPIRB. Instead of rope sling, a specially developed plastic bolt secures the radio beacon and will be cut when the unit is activated. It is made of glass fibre reinforced nylon, which prevents it from corrosion.
