The 2nd China (Macao) International Yacht Import and Export Fair (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Macao Yacht Fair’) opened at 11 am in Pavilion A of Venetian Macao Convention & Exhibition Centre. Mr. Edmund Ho Hau Wah, Vice Chairman of CPPCC National Committee, Ms. Gao Yan, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao S.A.R, Mr. Feng Tie, Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC in the Macao S.A.R., Mr. Tam Pak Yuen, Secretary for the Economy and Finance of the Macao S.A.R., Mr. Duan Hongyi, General Manager of Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited, Mr. Sou Tim Peng, Director of Macao Economic Services,Mr. Chou Weng Cheong, Chairman of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, Mr. Chou Weng Cheong, Chairman of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, Ms. Susanna Wong Soi Man, Director of Maritime Administration of Macao S.A.R. and Mr. Li Zhizhong, President of Macao Convention & Exhibition Association, attended and officiated the opening ceremony.

Having travelled from harbors around the world, yachts finally entered Macao in loud whistle and arrived at Venetian Macao Convention & Exhibition Centre, which announced the formal opening of the 2nd Macao Yacht Fair and also the participation of world yacht brands in this event. Luxury yacht exhibitors, joined by bikini-clad show models, will celebrate the occasion with joy.

This event is jointly sponsored by Macao Convention & Exhibition Association, Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited, and China National Machinery Industry Corporation, and is co-organized by China Ocean Aviation Group Company, Nam Kwong International Convention & Exhibition Centre, China National Automotive Industry Corporation, Macao Expo Group Ltd., Fujian Wangzi Yacht Sales Co., Ltd. and China National Convention & Exhibition Fujian Co.,Ltd.

Over 30 yacht brands from more than 20 countries including Sunseeker, Searay, Bayliner, Prestige, Jeanneau, Sunrise, YAMAHA, KAWASAKI, Sunbird, Prout, Delta, Norsemen, JET-TERN, GCK, and Maxi will be displayed this time. All exhibitors, with their unique features, will present their respective highlights to audiences: innovatively designed dolphin yacht is quite an inspiring work different from conventional speed boats; Prout CTS-40 triple-hulled vessel boasts its considerably high performance and fast speed; and Superspeed carbon fiber yacht DELTA SPORTS CRUISER™appears with smart design that can transform the sofa in the stern into a sunbath deck and the driver’s seat into a kitchen.

In order to create the luxury, romantic and elegant atmosphere, the organizing committee has elaborately worked on both venue decoration and atmosphere, and will offer various kinds of appealing cultural activities to interact with yacht themes. Guests will have the opportunity to meet supermodels including Ms. Wang Lu, winner of the world top 4 of 2011 Miss Tourism International, Ms. Zhang Yutong, third place of 2012 Miss Universe Final Pageant and Ms. Guo Yue, second place of 2011 China Professional Models Contest. In the Bikini show held twice a day, all guest will enjoy their time with hot models and witness the climax of the carnival. Meanwhile the committee will also invite distinguished guests for wine tasting and world class wines from the five best chateaus including Château Lafite will be served.

The Fair venue is set at Pavilion A of Venetian Macao Convention & Exhibition Centrewhere the established exhibition facilities and convenient service package will offer the most crucial logistical support for the success of the event. The 3-day Fair will not only provide guests with free parking but also 4 special free shuttle bus routes. Citizens may take feeder buses that stop at Lao Hon Supermarket, Dutch Garden Bohui Bus station, Nam Wan International Bank and Taipa Race Course/Tai Fung Bank to arrive at the venue. The bus time is from 11:00 to 19:00.

It is worth mentioning that this Yacht Fair is open to the public for free. In the afternoon on 18 November, there will be a great lottery game at the end of the Fair. All guests having joined the event will have the chance to win more than one prizes including precious metal, and the activity will be full of surprise and entertainment.
