Beijing: With pollution dominating headlines in China at the moment, state-owned Sinopec, Asia’s largest refiner, has vowed to clean up its act.

It said it is upgrading its desulphurization facilities and will supply cleaner oil products from 2014. A total of 12 refineries are being amended.
