According to the statistics from Shanghai Shipping Exchange, the newbuilding prices in January slightly decreased. Prices of VLCC, Suezmax, Aframax and oil production tankers are respectively $92.25 million, $56.5 million, $47.75 million and $33.88 million, dropped by 0.94%, 0.66%, 1.29% and 0% comparing to last month. While the newbuilding prices of 82000 cubic LPG and 160000 cubic LNG vessels, are respectively $70 million and $119.5 million, deceased by 0.13% and 0.56%. Other sectors such as bulk carriers and container ships remained relatively stable.
