Currently, Xu Zhengjun, the Managing Director of COSCO International Holdings Limited said that, the corporation is seeking for acquisition opportunities. Especially, in the insurance business sector, the company is considering to expand, including the non-marine related insurance.

He added that, the company hopes to expand the insurance coverage to properties on land, such as port and real estate. The acquisition process probably will take place in Hong Kong.

Industry believes that, the expanding of COSCO International aims to bring new profit growth.
