Shanghai: Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has received two plus two ethylene/LNG ship orders from Norway’s IM Skaugen, which will be equipped with LNG power systems.

The 17,000 cu m LNG carriers are due for delivery in 2015, each worth more than $40m.

IM Skaugen has ordered four 10,000 cu m LNG ships and two 12,000 cu m LNG ships at another two Chinese shipbuilders earlier.
