Recently Shandong Shipping Corporation has ordered 4 ore carriers with China Shipbuilding & Offshore International Company and Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Company. It is introduced that these newbuilding contracts has set records of largest capacity and highest value of shipbuilding history in Shandong Province.

Zhao Xianfu, the Vice General Manager of Shandong Shipping Corporation said that these four vessels will be used for the 10 years’ ore shipping contract between Shandong Shipping and BHP Billiton.
