Guangdong Yuexin Ocean Engineering of China is said to have inked a newbuilding contract for 2+2 units of 32m tug boats with Singaporean port operator PSA International.

This is reportedly a second cooperative project after another 32m-tug newbuilding, "YX3175", penned last year.

The newbuild tug will be constructed based on RAmpart 3200 design developed by Robert Allan of Canada. Classed by Lloyd’s Register, it is said to comply with MLC 2006-related regulations, having 32m of length, 11.6m of breadth, 5.36m of height with 5.8m of design draft.
