The wage for seafarers will be raised by 6.5% in the following 3 years.

The decision was agreed at a meeting of maritime employer representatives in Bali, in cooperation with the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF).

The wage in 2015 will be raised by 1%, in 2016 and 2017 raised by 2% and 3.5% respectively.
