Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Industry turned out to have signed a strategic agreement on July 9 with local Qidong Fengshun Ship Heavy Industry for establishment of Qidong construction center for special ship and its signboard hanging ceremony was also held on the same day.

According to Eworldship, CSIC-affiliated Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding specializes in researching, developing and building special vessels such as stainless chemical tankers. It is said to have delivered the highest number of vessels in global small and medium stainless chemical tanker sector.

It established the Qidong center with selecting Fengshun as a partner after reviewing for many years to follow enlargement trend of special vessel.

Meanwhile, Fengshun built "Nantong SOE Fengshun construction center" in partnership with Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering (SOE) on May 28.
