Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Engine Co., Ltd. (MHI-MME) has concluded a licensing agreement with China’s Changzhou Zhonghai Marine Propeller Co., Ltd. (CZZH) under which Mitsubishi will provide Changzhou with the manufacturing and marketing rights to its marine propellers.

The licensing agreement applies to the complete lineup of Mitsubishi Advanced Propellers (MAP) designed by MHI-MME.

CZZH’s new manufacturing plant opened in March 2014 has a production capacity of nearly 5,000 tonnes per year.
