China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) has returned to the black in the third quarter ended 30 September 2014, erasing the losses it recorded a year ago.

During the quarter, CSCL posted a gain of RMB203.25m ($33.21m) as against a deficit of RMB403.98m in the same period of last year.

The quarterly revenue remained largely unchanged at RMB9.2bn.

In the nine months ended 30 September 2014, CSCL posted a profit of RMB663.57m, reversing from a loss of RMB1.67bn in the previous corresponding period.
