Total coal stockpiles at China’s four Bohai Sea ports down 7% on week

Coal stocks at China’s four major Bohai Sea ports dropped 1.365 million mt or 7.0% week-on-week to 18.228 million mt on Sunday, Qinhuangdao Port said Monday.

Coal stocks at Qinhuangdao Port dropped 5.0% on the week to 5.15 million mt on Sunday; stocks at Jingtang Port fell 13.6% to 4.58 million mt; and stocks at Caofeidian Port dropped 7.2% to 5.68 million mt. But stocks at Tianjin Port edged up 2.5% week-on-week to 2.82 million mt.

The number of vessels queuing at the four ports totaled 101 on Sunday, down from 129 a week ago, Qinhuangdao Port said.
