The second batch of white list of shipping enterprises comes out when the new year approaching.

China’s ministry of industry and information technology has announced the second batch of a ‘white list’ of Chinese shipping enterprises, which are supposedly regarded as reputable shipbuilders.

Compared with the first batch, the second batch of white list just includes 9 shipyards. The white list in the second batch covers three shipyards in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong. Other shipyards are state-owned shipyards.

A total of 51 shipyards have been ‘white listed’in the first batch, the ministry announced, coming from various provinces and including both state-owned and private enterprises in September.
