China Navigation Co (CNCo) division Swire Bulk has opened up in Melbourne, Australia.

The new Australia desk will be located in the same office as CNCo’s Swire Shipping in Melbourne.

With the opening of the Swire Bulk office in Melbourne, Adam Lucas, gm Australia, and Antony Riley, assistant chartering manager, will move from the Swire Bulk Singapore desk to Melbourne.

“The Melbourne bulk desk will work closely with our dry bulk customers and shipbrokers and leverage on the extensive Swire Shipping network to increase our market share of inbound and outbound cargo flows from the region,” said Andrew Kidd gm Swire Bulk.

By next Swire Bulk will control a fleet of 38 handysize logs-fitted vessels.

The Melbourne desk will add to offices in Singapore, London, Tokyo and San Francisco.
