Qingdao Maritime Court has announced that it will auction bulker Fu Shan Wan, belonging to Zhenghe Shipping, on December 22 at the request of six crews who have contract disputes with the company’s subsidiary Qingdao Marine International Manning Company.

Zhenghe Shipping is currently in the middle of a financial crisis, it was sued by a number of employees earlier this year over unpaid salaries.

The company’s subsidiary shipyard, Zhenghe Shipbuilding, suspended operations in September and is currently looking for investors to restructure the yard.
