Singapore-listed shipping trust Rickmers Maritime is warning of a Q4 and full year loss as impairments on the value of its fleet.

The trust said that in light of the depressed containership charter market it would be taking impairment charges on its vessels amounting to $129m in the fourth quarter. As result Rickmers Maritime said it expects to report a loss in Q4 and for 2015 as a whole.

Following the announcement Rickmers Maritime unit price fell by 12.2% to SGD0.108 in trading on Tuesday morning.
