Small product tanker specialist Thun Tankers has announced the acquisition of 7,915dwt product tanker Nordic Trine from Nordic Tankers.

Thun will rename the vessel Thun Greenwich, and the ship will be sent to Falkvarv shipyard for upgrades before being put into trade. Thun will commercially manage the ship from Gothenburg, while ship management will be handled by MF Shipping Group.

Joakim Lund, CCO of Thun Tankers, commented: “Thun Tankers always strives to alter and match our fleet to our clients’ existing requirements and this ship will further add to that.”

Thun now has a fleet of sixteen vessels trading in Europe, all between 5,000 dwt and 10,000 dwt.
