Three out Pacific Drilling’s fleet of seven ultra-deepwater drillships are now without employment.

In a fleet update Pacific Drilling said 2013-built drillship Pacific Khamsin had completed drilling operations for Chevron offshore Nigeria on 17 December 2015.

The Pacific Khamsin, joins the Pacific Mistral and Pacific Melten in being idle. Current employment for three more its drillships expire in September this year, and January and May 2017. The Pacific Sharav has a contract with Chevron in the Gulf of Mexico until September 2019.
