Thenamaris Sells LR2 Tanker for USD 13 Mn

Greek shipping company Thenamaris has agreed to sell its LR2 tanker Seafaith II to Indonesia-based tanker company Buana Listya Tama, according to data provided by VesselsValue.

Featuring 109,300 dwt, the tanker was sold for a price of USD 13 million.

With a length of 244 meters and a width of 42 meters, the tanker has a capacity of 117,920 m3.

VesselsValue shows that the 2000-built tanker, constructed by China’s Dalian New Yard, has a market value of USD 8.1 million.

Sold earlier in November, Seafaith II was a part of Thenamaris’ fleet of 70 vessels, 46 of which are tankers.

The company has ten more tankers on order at Japanese and South Korean yards, all of which are scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2018.
