Croatian shipbuilder Brodosplit has signed an agreement to build a Polar Class expedition cruise ship for an undisclosed client.
The ship will be built in the class LR Polar Class 6 and will be the first cruise ship in the world ever built in this class, according to Brodosplit.
Capable of carrying 196 passengers, the cruise vessel will feature 8 decks and 95 cabins.
With a length of 107,6 meters and a width of 17,6 meters, the ship will be driven by two engines with a total output of 4200 kW.
Brodosplit carried out the design and technical solutions of the vessel, which is scheduled to join its owner in 2019.
