We are pleased to announce that LSS-SAPU and BIMCO will be hosting Roadshows with the main topic “Maritime Security- PMSC Accreditation. Weapons Control & Standards” on 27.06.2017 in Hamburg, on 05.07.2017 in Athens and on 07.07.2017 in Limassol. Attached fyr is the relevant banner.

BIMCO’s Chief of Maritime Security, Mr. Philip Tinsley along with our own Chief Operating Officer Mr. Alexandros Theodosios Kontos, will coordinate the Roadshow.

During the Roadshow the current circumstances that ravage the Maritime Security sector and jeopardise Crews, shipping companies assets unethically will be presented and analysed. A panel consisting of experts from various fields in shipping will be formed to share viewpoints on the topic and discuss what can be done in the future.

The panel will include representatives from Flag Registries, BIMCO Directors, Underwriters, P&I representatives, CSOs’, Managing Directors of Oil majors, International Ship owning Groups and Managing Companies from around the world.
