Shipment of Azeri oil from Ceyhan reduced

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has announced the latest statistical data on Azeri oil export via main export pipeline Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) named after Heydar Aliyev for June with a decline of 9.9% versus May 2017.

SOCAR informs that it was shipped 2.015 million tons of Azeri oil from the Turkish port of Ceyhan against 2.236 million tons in May, 2.085 million tons in April, 1.7 million tons in March, 2.08 million tons in February and 2.048 million tons in January of the year.

In June 1.429 million tons of overall shipping accounted for the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) against 1.32 million tons in May, 1.467 million tons in April, 1.09 million tons in March, 1.23 million tons in February and AZN 1.398 million tons in January.

“This year the shipment of Azerbaijani oil still makes up 12.29 million tons,” SOCAR reported. At that, 7.9 million tons accounted for SOFAZ.

In 2016 it was shipped 28.6 million tons of Azeri oil from Ceyhan and 17.37 million tons accounted for SOFAZ.

From the very beginning of shipment and before 1 July 2017, the total shipment from Ceyhan Azerbaijani oil reached 332.125 million tons.
