Rate for Capesize vessels began to surge from this Monday, driving BDI to gain for second day in this week with an increase of 39 points (5.4%), closing at 762 points.

BDI increased for the first time in nearly two months which has slumped 47% since November 20, 2014.

BCI was up 164 points (44%) to 537 points, the biggest one-day rise since October 28, 2014. Meanwhile the average daily earnings increased $1,634 to $7,021.

BPI increased 4 points (0.5%), closing at 766 points. The average daily earnings gained $31 to $6,113.

BSI decreased 15 points to 763 points, and BHSI fell 6 points to 435 points.
