On April 13, China International Marine Containers (CIMC) and Midea officially entered into a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed by Mr. Li Yinhui, Vice President of CIMC, and Mr. Wang Xinliang, President of Corporate Business at Midea, on behalf of their respective organizations. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Mai Boliang, Chairman of CIMC; Mr. Gao Xiang, President of CIMC; Mr. Wang Xiaoyan, Vice President of CIMC; Mr. Shan Lipo, Assistant to the President of CIMC; alongside Mr. Fang Hongbo, Chairman and CEO of Midea; and Mr. Qiu Xiangwei, President of Midea's Industrial Business Unit.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two parties will deepen collaboration across key areas including intelligent buildings, green circular packaging, new energy ventures, digitalization and smart production line upgrades, logistics services, and steel processing and supply. The partnership aims to jointly advance the high-quality development of both organizations' business operations.
In the fields of new energy and low-carbon solutions, the two entities will collaborate to develop flagship projects such as green intelligent buildings and high-efficiency facilities, thereby supporting the green and intelligent transformation of the construction sector. Concurrently, they will foster strategic synergy between their respective energy storage affiliates, pursuing comprehensive cooperation across product development, technology, and market access. With respect to supply chain operations, the parties will deepen end-to-end coordination on circular packaging and jointly establish capabilities for full-process management of component warehouses, with the objective of building a green and intelligent supply chain ecosystem. Furthermore, the collaboration will enhance coordination in product logistics and global supply chain management by optimizing transportation routes, developing multimodal transport solutions, and improving warehousing and distribution efficiency to continuously elevate logistical performance. In the realm of digitalization and intelligent production lines, the two sides will work together to build a responsive, continuously evolving smart manufacturing operational framework, thereby achieving cost reduction and efficiency gains.

Mr. Mai Boliang remarked: "Midea stands as a benchmark for digital transformation within China's manufacturing sector. Its continued breakthroughs in smart home technology, industrial technology, robotics, and automation are truly commendable. CIMC maintains a deep focus on the manufacturing of logistics and energy equipment, having introduced a portfolio of champion products that underpin global logistics and industrial systems. Building upon the existing foundation of cooperation, we must further intensify dialogue, continuously explore new avenues for collaboration, and empower one another with high-quality, efficient, and cost-competitive products and services. Together, we will pursue technological breakthroughs, promote the domestic substitution of core equipment, and strive for greater influence within the global high-end equipment sector."
Mr. Fang Hongbo stated: "Both CIMC and Midea are pragmatic and understated enterprises. While steadfastly committed to our core businesses, we consistently pursue self-improvement and proactive innovation, engaging in global competition with an open and inclusive mindset. This shared corporate culture fosters mutual understanding and highly efficient coordination in our joint endeavors. This partnership represents not merely a deep integration of equipment manufacturing prowess and technological innovation capabilities, but also an opportunity to develop replicable benchmark solutions for overseas markets."

Through this strategic collaboration, the two parties aim not only to enhance the quality and efficiency of their respective operations but also to deliver replicable benchmark solutions for global manufacturing supply chain upgrades, green and low-carbon transformation, and digital-intelligent development. This initiative will propel Chinese manufacturing toward higher-quality development on the global stage and inject new momentum into worldwide economic growth.
