Cosco Shipping Specialized Establishes Jiangsu-Anhui Representative Office in Nanjing

On April 16, Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers officially inaugurated its Jiangsu-Anhui Representative Office in Nanjing and hosted a customer promotion seminar. The event was attended by dozens of representatives from government agencies, port and shipping entities, and client organizations, who gathered to discuss collaboration and explore mutual development opportunities. Mr. Luo Rui, Deputy Director of the Nanjing Municipal Transportation Bureau; Mr. Zhao Jianhua, General Manager of Nanjing Port; and Mr. Li Ling, General Manager of the Global Capacity Coordination Center at Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers, delivered remarks during the seminar. All parties expressed their consensus that the Representative Office will serve as a vital conduit to further promote port service coordination, align route resources, and integrate logistics solutions, thereby jointly supporting regional industrial development and safeguarding the stability and fluidity of supply chains.

Earlier that morning, Mr. Zhang Wei, Chairman of Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers, led a delegation to visit the Representative Office's premises located within the Nanjing Port Tower.

Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers is currently accelerating its strategic transformation from a traditional "shipping service provider" toward becoming a "benchmark setter in the global specialized transport industry, leading value creation within the shipping and logistics ecosystem." Leveraging its five major logistics corridors, the company is integrating global fleet resources with end-to-end service capabilities to deliver more resilient and efficient full-process logistics solutions to its customers. The establishment of the Jiangsu-Anhui Representative Office constitutes a significant regional milestone in executing this strategic transformation within East China.

The Jiangsu and Anhui region possesses a robust industrial foundation, characterized by a high concentration of industries including the "New Three" export categories, automobile manufacturing, and equipment manufacturing, with sustained growth in export demand. Functioning as an extension of Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers' East China Division / Shanghai Company, the Representative Office will leverage the strategic support of the corporate headquarters and the hub advantages of Nanjing Port to achieve integrated operations characterized by "marketing forward deployment and on-site coordination." This will significantly enhance market responsiveness, elevate the professionalism of localized service delivery, and strengthen the customization capabilities for comprehensive logistics solutions. Consequently, it will provide regional clients with a more stable and predictable one-stop service experience spanning from factory loading to final destination delivery.
