Maersk Appoints President for Asia Pacific Region
A.P. Moller-Maersk announced on the 23rd the appointment of Scott Elliott as President of its Asia Pacific Region. Mr. Elliott has served as the interim head of the region since January 2026, prior to which he held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific since joining Maersk in 2020.

Before joining Maersk, Mr. Elliott served as President of Global Freight and Regional CFO for Toll Global in Singapore. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance and general management roles at CEVA Logistics across the United States, China, the Netherlands, and Australia. This background has provided him with a rare combination of operational, commercial, and financial leadership experience across some of the world's most dynamic trade lanes.
Mr. Elliott stated: "Asia Pacific is the largest regional economy in the world, critically important to global trade, and central to Maersk's growth ambitions.
