Ningbo Zhoushan Port: 2025 Operating Revenue Reaches RMB 31 Billion, Throughput Hits 1.22 Billion Tons
On April 1, Ningbo Zhoushan Port Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Ningbo Port") released its 2025 annual report. According to the report, amid a complex and volatile external environment, Ningbo Port delivered a remarkable performance in high-quality development throughout the year, characterized by steady growth in operating performance, record-high port throughput, accelerated smart and green transformation, and continuously enhanced governance efficiency.
Steady Progress in Operating Performance with Comprehensive Improvement in Key Indicators
In 2025, Ningbo Port achieved operating revenue of RMB 31.020 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 7.41%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached RMB 5.168 billion, up 5.63% year-on-year, while core net profit after non-recurring gains and losses stood at RMB 4.214 billion, an increase of 7.63% year-on-year. Net cash flow from operating activities amounted to RMB 13.447 billion, a significant year-on-year surge of 97.15%, reflecting ample cash flow and notably enhanced profitability quality and risk resilience.
In terms of profit distribution, Ningbo Port maintained its policy of high-proportion and high-stability dividend payouts. According to the profit distribution plan, the company intends to allocate 65% of its 2025 distributable profits for cash dividends.

As a mega-port that has ranked first globally in cargo throughput for 17 consecutive years, Ningbo Port achieved cargo throughput of 1.22 billion tons in 2025, an increase of 7.2% year-on-year, and container throughput of 52.98 million TEU, up 11.2% year-on-year. Growth was observed across all business segments, including domestic and foreign trade, sea-rail intermodal transport, bulk and general cargo, and roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) vehicles. By the end of 2025, Ningbo Port operated 309 container routes, connecting to over 600 ports in more than 200 countries and regions worldwide, with its port connectivity index consistently ranking among the top globally.
In the report, Ningbo Port stated its plans for 2026, targeting cargo throughput of 1.25 billion tons, container throughput of 57.65 million TEU, operating revenue of RMB 32.5 billion, and total profit of RMB 7.25 billion.
