On April 2, CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Company Limited, in partnership with China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd., formally signed a newbuilding order in Shanghai with Greek shipping company Venergy Maritime Limited for 2+2 "Swan" class 1,900 TEU feeder container vessels. This marks Venergy's second shipbuilding order in the Chinese market and the third signing cooperation between the two parties in less than six months, underscoring the high recognition and sustained trust placed in Huangpu Wenchong by mainstream Greek shipping interests.

The vessel type under this contract is identical to the previous order, both being the independently developed "Swan" 1,900 TEU feeder container ship by Huangpu Wenchong. With its superior cargo capacity, flexible port adaptability, and outstanding green environmental performance, this design has become a benchmark product in the global feeder container ship market.

On the same day, CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Company Limited, in partnership with China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd., held a signing ceremony in Guangzhou with renowned Greek shipowner Erasmus Shipinvest Group for a construction contract covering 2+2 1,800 TEU container vessels. Representatives of the three parties witnessed this significant moment together. This represents the first cooperation between Huangpu Wenchong and Erasmus Shipinvest, marking the official commencement of their partnership across the shipping industry chain.

The 1,800 TEU feeder container vessel contracted under this agreement is a premium design from Huangpu Wenchong's independently developed "Swan" series. Embracing the design philosophy of intelligence and high efficiency, the vessel features optimized hull lines and the adoption of new energy-saving technologies. It is characterized by low energy consumption, strong maneuverability, and broad adaptability, fully meeting the current demands of the global shipping market for operational economy, and stands as an ideal choice for future regional feeder shipping services.
